The authorities of the state of Florida urged to evacuate 5.6 million (about a quarter of the state’s population) residents in connection with the impending hurricane Irma. This is the BBC.

According to forecasts, one of the most powerful hurricanes in the Atlantic over the past century will fall to Florida on Sunday morning.

Currently, the hurricane approached the Northern part of Cuba, where the capital Havana, triggering heavy rains and wind speeds of 250 km per hour.

In part of the island Saint Martin, which belongs to the Netherlands, hurricane Irma has caused the death of two people and another 43 were injured.
