Foreign hackers tried to attack the primaries of the French socialists, cracking a computer system during the first round of primaries, which took place on January 22. This was announced by the head of the Committee supervising the primaries of the candidate in presidents of France, Tom Glue in an interview with French TV channel i-Tele, reports Deutsche Welle.
According to him, the cyber attack was successfully repulsed. Glue promised to disclose the details of hacking attacks after the second round of primaries that will be held on January 29.
He also stressed that the attempt of hacking are hackers from abroad.
January 22, in France in the first round of the primaries of the socialists defeated the outsider. According to preliminary data of the first round of primaries in France, the representative of the left wing of the Socialist party, former Minister of education Benoit Amon scored the highest number of votes by 35.2%.
