In Gabon, the man wounded a knife of two reporters of the National Geographic magazine. He explained their actions disagreement with the recognition of the President of the United States Donald trump Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. About it reports The Telegraph.

The attack happened in a popular tourist area on Saturday, when journalists were shopping.

“The initial evidence at the scene, the attacker, 53-year-old Nigerian man, during the attack shouted “Allahu Akbar”. He was arrested on the spot”, – said the Minister of defense of Gabon Etienne Massard:

The Minister said that this man lives in Gabon 19 years. “In his first statements, he said he did so in retaliation for the US attack on Muslims and the us recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel,” said Massard.

The victims were hospitalized in serious condition.
