In Dortmund, the police detained a group of eight neo-Nazis who seized the Church of the evangelists. About it reports DW.
Neo-Nazis barricaded in the steeple of the Church on the morning of 16 December. According to militiamen, they put up posters and lit the torches, shouting slogans through a megaphone during the Christmas fair. After that, the police broke through the barricades and stopped the offenders. The operation resulted in eight extremists were detained, but later released them.
“We believe that the use of our Church with the purpose of right-wing propaganda – it is disrespectful, said the caretaker of the Church of Saint Reinold in Dortmund Ulf Schluter, quoted by Agency dpa. – There is no room for racism”.
