The Prosecutor’s office in Dortmund has charged two former SS who worked as guards in the concentration camp Stutthof under the Gdansk. This was reported by Deutsche Welle.

93-year-old man from the district of Borken and 92-year-old man from the city of Wuppertal in North Rhine – Westphalia, accused of aiding the murder of hundreds of prisoners camp.

According to Dortmund Prosecutor’s office, both men allegedly knew about the mass killings in Stutthof. The first of them, according to the Agency, was in a concentration camp from June 1942 to September 1944, and the second from June 1944 to may 1945. The defendants deny their guilt.

The prosecutors say that hundreds of prisoners of Stutthof concentration camp were murdered in the gas chambers. Others died from the unbearable conditions of life, lethal injection or were shot.

October 17, 2017, a court in Berlin sentenced an 88-year-old German woman Ursula Haverbeck to a six-month sentence for Holocaust denial.
