In Israel, two local residents filed the first class action lawsuit outside of the United States to Apple for intentionally slowing down older iPhone models. It is reported by the ITC.
The plaintiffs claim that Apple violated the obligations to consumers, deliberately concealing information from them about what “harmless” updating a negative impact on the operation of the devices and require the company of $125 million
The lawsuit also says that Apple is well known for its secrecy, the company does not give access to the source code of their products, and not listening to consumers, taking different kinds of decisions in respect of their software and devices.
Like many others, the initiators of this trial believe that the way Apple has encouraged buyers to purchase more of the new iPhone.
Earlier it was reported that US iPhone owners have begun to file lawsuits against Apple after the manufacturer admitted that intentionally reduces the speed of the processor in the older models.
