Italian manufacturer of jeans Steve Jobs, founded by brothers Vincenzo and Giacomo Barbato, won Apple many years of trial concerning the illegal use of trademarks of Steve Jobs. It is reported by the ITC.

The standoff began in 2012 when the brothers noticed that Apple never recorded the name of co-founder Steve jobs as a brand. At that time, Barbato was preparing to launch its own brand of clothing and accessories after several years of working on other brands.

Apple filed a lawsuit against the brothers regarding illegal use of the trademark, but failed – she was unable to prove to the court that the logo of Steve Jobs in the form of a bitten letter J with a piece of Apple similar to the Apple logo. In his decision, the judge ruled that the letter J in the logo of the Italian company doesn’t seem edible, and therefore, nadcp side can not be considered plagiarism of the iconic Apple logo in the form of a bitten Apple.

The brothers intend to further develop the Steve Jobs brand, releasing bags, t-shirts, jeans and other fashion accessories. The Italians also said that in the future I plan to produce and electronics.
