On-site KensingtonTM Palace in London until the end of 2017, we intend to establish a monument in honor of Princess Diana. The initiators and partly by sponsors of the project were sons-princes William and Henry, reported on the website of the Royal family in Facebook.

“The statue of Diana, Princess of Wales will be built in the grounds of Kensington Palace at the request of her sons, the Duke of Cambridge and Prince Henry,” the statement reads.

The princes convened a special Committee and instructed to start collecting funds for the monument. The members of the Committee must choose a sculptor and work with the historic Royal Palace with the installation of the statue.

“It’s been 20 years since the death of our mother and it is time to immortalize in a statue its positive effect in the UK and around the world. Our mother influenced a large number of lives. We hope that the statue will help all those who visits Kensington Palace, to commemorate her life and her legacy,” the letter reads sons.
