In March this year, the International court of justice in the Hague will begin hearings under the claim of Ukraine against Russia. This was announced by foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin on air of inter TV channel.

This is a complaint about the violation by Russia of the Convention on combating financing of terrorism and the Convention on the elimination of all forms of racial discrimination.

It asks Ukraine oblige Russia to fully compensate the damage caused by the terrorist attacks that were carried out with the support of the Russian Federation. It downed Malaysia airlines flight MH17, the shelling of civilians in Volnovakha and Mariupol, the shelling of civilians in Kramatorsk and the terrorist attack in Kharkiv, and others.

The lawsuit also is demanding that Russia immediately and unconditionally halt support for illegal armed groups, leading in Ukraine, terrorist activities, and make efforts to guarantee the withdrawal from Ukraine of weapons of those groups.

The foreign Ministry of Ukraine believes that the consideration of a claim of Ukraine against Russia may take years.
