In Mexico cops charged with murder of 22 people during the conflict in the state of michoacán last year. This was announced by the national Commission of Mexico for human rights, reports the BBC.
The conflict took place on a ranch in the city Tanhuato in may 2015 – they killed 42 suspected member of a drug cartel and a police officer.
The authorities assure that there has been human rights violations and violence connected with the war waged by the two local drug gangs.
The Commission on the results of the investigation state that 40 of the victims were shot dead, one person died in a fire and another fell under the wheels of the car. There’s also a claim that at least two were tortured by the police, some of the bodies moved, and in the hands of the dead has put guns.
