The investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case on the fact of hostage-taking at a Citibank branch in the center of Moscow on Bolshaya Nikitskaya street, 15. This was stated by the representative of the Minister Yulia Ivanova, reports TASS.

“A criminal case under article 206 of the criminal code of Russian Federation (capture of hostages),” said she.

According to the source, the police have established the identity of the man. “It’s Aram Petrosyan in 1961”, – he said, noting that the offender was prepared to seize a Bank branch. “He built something similar to the explosive device, and even bought a radio station,” he said.

The invader called himself by a businessman from Moscow, which went bankrupt.
