Fujimori was pardoned by the current President of Peru Pedro Paulo Kuczynski on December 25. According to the official report, doctors found that Fujimori suffers from an incurable disease. “I am convinced that those of us who consider themselves Democrats, can’t allow Alberto Fujimori to die in prison. Justice is not revenge. My solution is particularly complex and difficult, but it’s my decision,” said Kuczynski.
