The district Prosecutor in Wroclaw has accused the 44-year-old citizen of Poland, trafficking, threats and forgery. She was recruited Ukrainians for work in Wroclaw three firms, according to Polish radio.
According to Polish border guards, Polish-advanced 20 charges, of which 17 relate to human trafficking. The investigation revealed that the accused used the ignorance of the Ukrainian language, the workers passports and personal documents that they could not freely travel around the country.
Regarding the Ukrainians also used the mechanism of debt – for return of passport required to pay compensation.
According to investigators, the woman set fines, not paying salaries. Workers were punished because they were ill or did not respond to phone calls.
The accused faces a minimum of three years of imprisonment.
