Members of the Czech group Kaputin during the celebration of the anniversary of the Velvet revolution unfolded in Prague, a large flag of Ukraine to remind the Czechs of the aggression of the Kremlin against the Ukrainian people. This was reported on the page of the initiative group in Facebook.
“Why are we carrying the Ukrainian flag. We are not only Czechs, which are reminiscent of the fall of totalitarianism in our country in 1989, but above all liberal Europeans, who do not forget the struggle of Ukraine for freedom and democracy. The best day for reminders – November 17 Day of struggle for freedom and democracy,” the statement reads Kaputin.
The band members are reminded that in 2013, the Ukrainians decided to go Pro-European and democratic way, what caused the aggression. Since then, the Ukrainians are fighting for their independence, and every day people die in the war with Russia.
“The Ukrainians chose freedom and Europe and are willing to sacrifice a lot, including his own life”, – noted the participants Kaputin.
