Front of the Parliament building in Bucharest on Sunday, November 6, held a protest against planned in Romania’s legal reform. About this reports Deutsche Welle.

The action took place in several cities of the country, it was attended by 12 thousand people.

“The Romanian Parliament is discussing a draft reform restricting the powers of the Prosecutor’s office, which conducts business under articles about corruption”, – stated in the message.

According to the project, it will not be able to conduct investigations against the officials, and the Ministry of justice will expand the control over the activities of prosecutors.

On 5 March, a new mass protest against corruption in the government gathered in the capital of Romania more than 10 thousand people.
