The investigative Committee of Russia reported about the conviction of 24-year-old man for alleged mercenary activities in connection with participation in the regiment Azov in Eastern Ukraine. The court in Kirov sentenced him to two and a half years of imprisonment with restriction of freedom for one year, according to the website management SK the Russian Federation across the Kirov region.

The Agency argues that the citizen of the Russian Federation from February, to September 2015 was in the regiment Azov participated in the fighting against Russian-terrorist troops in the Donbass. During this period he allegedly received 21 thousand UAH, after which he returned to Kirov oblast and was arrested.

According to local website Newsler.ru convicted in Kirov studied to be a lawyer, and after the 2nd course dropped out and disappeared.

The DNI and LC – terrorist organizations seized with the support of the Russian Federation of the Donetsk and Lugansk region of Ukraine. Both organizations created, funded and maintained by Russia, where, among other things, the terrorists are getting fighters, trainers, and heavy equipment, weapons, ammunition, and fuel.
