Net sales (excess of sale over purchase) of foreign currency by citizens of Ukraine in September amounted to $40.6 million, the national Bank of Ukraine (NBU) reported on the official website.

In the past month, the Ukrainians have bought from banks $665,5 million, and sold them – $706,1 million, said the NBU.

Since the beginning of the year citizens of Ukraine banks have sold $2.04 billion more cash than they bought.
