In Spain has died the oldest inhabitant of Europe – after one and a half months after she turned 116 years. About it reports The Daily Mail.

Ana Vela died in his sleep in a nursing home in Barcelona, where she lived.

The Spaniard was third on the list of centenarians the world over it was only a Japanese couple.

Your last birthday Ana Vela celebrated in the family circle. “She didn’t seem at 116. We have residents younger that look older. We treated it like other people. She was eating what everyone else. She got up at 10:00 and had Breakfast, rested and ate a snack before dinner,” said the Director of the nursing home David Gonzalez.

Last year the daughter of Ana Vela said: “She loves a glass of sweet wine to the food but not much drink. It has everything – meat, fish, vegetables. Her normal diet at home meal. When she was younger, she had a good appetite.”
