Four Russian workers propaganda TV channels were injured while working in one of the neighborhoods of the Syrian city of Deir ez-Zor when blasting controlled land mine. This was reported by the press service of the defense Ministry.

“All the victims were quickly evacuated to the base Hamim (Syria – ed.), where they were given necessary medical assistance,” – said the Russian defense Ministry.

According to doctors, they helped and their lives are not in danger

It is reported that the injured Ilya Ushenin and Timur Voronov – workers of the Russian TV channel NTV, Konstantin khudoleev and Dmitry Starodubskiy propagandists of the TV channel Zvezda, who oversees the Russian defense Ministry through television and radio company of Armed forces Zvezda.


The report also says that among the five injured servicemen who are members of the international mine action center. At the moment of explosion they were engaged in demining activities.

According to the UNESCO report in 2012-2016 worldwide died of 530 journalists, and for 11 years from 2006 – 930. In the course of 2016 in Afghanistan killed a record number of journalists – 13.
