The Syrian opposition urged the UN to intervene in the situation in the blockaded forces of the regime of Bashar al-Assad Damascus suburb – Eastern ghouta, according to the Anadolu news Agency.

The head of the Higher Committee on negotiations of the Syrian opposition Nasir Hariri in a letter to members of the UN security Council stated that the blockade of the suburbs of Damascus could lead to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Syrians in besieged areas of Eastern ghouta.

According to him, today in emergency evacuation procedures to treat need 500 sick children. Hariri called on to place in the Eastern Guta of international observers and to organize an international court to prosecute war criminals.
