17 Jul in the Netherlands will open the memorial to the victims of the crash of flight MH17. About it reports UKRINFORM.

A memorial sign is located near the Amsterdam Schiphol airport. The memorial is a monument to 298 of the trees – so many people have died and fields of sunflowers.

A Boeing 777 of Malaysia Airlines, carrying out flight MH17 from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur was shot down on 17 July 2014 in Donetsk region, on territories under control to fighters. The tragedy killed all 298 people aboard. The passengers of the flight were citizens of 10 countries, most of the victims (196 people) are citizens of the Netherlands.
