Ukraine must stop provocations against the Russian officers, so they can return to the Joint center for control and coordination of the ceasefire regime in the Donbass. This was stated by the head of the Duma Committee on international Affairs Leonid Slutsky, reports RIA Novosti.
“For the return of the Russian military in the Joint center for control and coordination of the ceasefire regime in the Donbass, you need to meet all the conditions Kiev, among which, first of all, the cessation of provocations against our officers,” said Slutsky.
According to him, the West also needs to ensure that Ukraine’s implementation of commitments under the Minsk agreements.
18 December 2017, Russia has stated that it withdraws its military from JCCC in the Donbass. The occupant country has also accused Ukraine of “creating serious difficulties in the work of the centre”. The next day the Ukrainian and Russian JCCC officers left the temporarily occupied areas of Donbass.
