“The fire occurred this morning in the Central part of the sea of Japan. Iman went from Toyama to Vladivostok with a cargo of machinery. The fire happened in a machine-boiler compartment. The crew sealed it and extinguished the fire. There were no injuries, pollution to the environment either. Threat of life of crew, no fuel and food on the ship is. The boat is in a drift,” said the source.
It is noted that Iman is the flag. The crew consists of 21 people and, according to Pirozhkova, all of them are citizens of Russia.
