In the United States can make it easier to launch startups, entrepreneurs from around the world, reports AIN.
The Department of homeland security (DHS), the United States proposed to introduce for the founders of the start-up visa that will give them the right to stay in the country for two years. But to obtain this visa, entrepreneurs, including the Ukrainian, will need to meet a number of criteria, such as getting investments from American investors.
Under the new rule, DHS will issue a temporary residence permit for entrepreneurs if they own at least 15% of a startup registered in the US in the last three years. Also startups need to get at least $345 000 from American investors.
The administration of President Barack Obama’s hopes that the new regulation will come into force before the end of Obama’s term – 20 January 2017 as part of the President’s pledge to attract the world’s best entrepreneurs to start new successful companies in the country.

Earlier it was reported that the startup visa is planning to enter Lithuania. To evaluate candidates for the right visa would be a special Startup Visa Committee. In the case of a positive decision, the founders will receive a residence permit valid for one year, with possibility of extension for another year.
