In Ukraine there are about 2 thousand high-tech startups, and their number is constantly growing. This was stated by first Deputy Prime Minister Stepan Kubiv at the opening of the second international forum on Innovation Market, the press service of the Ministry of economic development and trade.
Kubiv said that in 2016 in Ukraine were about 80 investment agreements with the Ukrainian innovative companies, 32% more than in 2015 the total amount of investment in startups in 2016 amounted to $88 million, and in General over the past five years – more than $400 million.
In addition, the Ukrainian startups as of mid-August, 2017 gathered on crowdfunding platforms $ 1.9 million.
Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian startup Petcube, which produces a “smart” device for Pets, has raised $10 million from venture capital funds.
