In Ukraine there is no revolutionary situation, people are tired and don’t trust anyone. This was stated by the Deputy head of the SBU Victor Kononenko in his speech at the national expert forum “Ukraine in the tendency to equilibrium”, the correspondent LIGA.net.
“With regard to the internal situation, not related to aggression, there are threats to state sovereignty, territorial integrity and constitutional order, we do not see. In the country there is a revolutionary situation,” he said.
Kononenko said that any attempt to provoke the aggression of the state fail.
“This is due to two main factors, unfortunately. First, people are just tired. They just want a nice, normal, secure life and prospects for tomorrow. Secondly, people don’t trust anyone, neither the government nor the opposition. Therefore, there is no revolutionary situation, we go the evolutionary way. And threats to States in the country today, we do not see”, – he added.
Earlier today, Kononenko said that Russia is focused on falsification of results of elections in Ukraine in 2019, but the security service is taking measures to “frustrate these plans of the enemy.”
