Acting U.S. attorney Sally Yates was fired after she voiced criticism of the controversial anti-immigrant decree of the President of the United States Donald trump. This was reported by press Secretary of the White house Sean Spicer in his Twitter.

In place of Yates appointed U.S. attorney for the Eastern district of Virginia Dana Boente.

As previously reported by the Guardian, Yates, appointed under the administration of former President Barack Obama, noted that “not convinced of the legality of the decree of the President”.

“The Ministry of justice will present arguments in defense of the orders of the President,” she said.
