Agents of the Federal Bureau of investigation simultaneously conducted interviews in the home residing in the United States several employees of the company Kaspersky Lab. What was the theme of these conversations was not reported: the company confirmed the meetings, but the Bureau declined to comment, writes service Bi-bi-si.
The American press does not know whether the interviewed employees virus in the case of RF interference in the US presidential election, or the reason was different.
Last month US intelligence, reporting to the Senate Committee on the investigation of problems in the past elections, said that the agents studied the use of American officials software from Kaspersky Lab. The Congress was concerned that these programs could be used by Russia for hacker attacks on American computer systems as well as the company has ties with the FSB.
The company’s founder Eugene Kaspersky said that he was ready to come to the court and to “allay fears”.
