IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano stated that Iran fully complies with its commitments under the Joint comprehensive plan of action, which was endorsed by the UN Security Council. It is reported by the UN news Center.
According to Amano, Iran’s nuclear activities is now under the strict control.
The Director of the Agency noted that the IAEA monitors the implementation of all aspects of the agreement from January 2016. The inspectors have access to all the facilities that they have to check.
The agreement on the nuclear program of Iran was adopted on 14 July 2015. In addition to Iran, the document was signed by the European Union, the UK, Germany, China, Russia, USA and France. In exchange for meeting the requirements of the agreement with Iran were sanctions lifted.
