Russian singer Yulia Samoylova, who will not be able to participate in the Eurovision song contest in 2017 because of the ban on entry to Ukraine, will perform in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol on 9 may – the day of the first semi-final of the song contest. This is with reference to the occupation administration of the city according to the Russian propaganda resource TASS.
“Julia Samoilov has officially confirmed its participation in concert to the victory Day in Sevastopol”, – stated in the message.
In the fake city hall said that he proposed the singer to supposedly come immediately after Russia’s refusal from participation in Eurovision-2017.

March 22, 2017 Ukraine declared contestant of the Eurovision song contest from the state-aggressor, Julia Samoylova persona non grata due to illegal visit to the occupied Crimea.
In response to this Russia refused to participate in Eurovision song contest this year. Also, the Russian First channel refused to broadcast the Eurovision song contest in 2017.
