In Italy an employee of the University La Sapienza di Roma received a two-day paid leave to care for your dog during and after her operation, according to La Repubblica.
The woman asked about a two-day vacation, in reply to her asked to justify your request. Counsel employees of the University pointed to the rule that refusal to care for the animals is seen as cruelty.
The hostess claimed that she would have committed the crime if had not been with the dog at this time. She also gave the University a certificate of need for surgery for the dog.
The court agreed with its arguments and decided to pay the holiday for family or personal reasons.
