Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko asks the President of Petro Poroshenko not to sign the amendments to the codes adopted in connection with the judicial reform. He said this at a meeting of the parliamentary Committee on legislative support of law enforcement, the correspondent LIGA.net.

“I as the attorney General wrote a negative conclusion on the law and will ask the President to veto it or to return to Parliament with their findings,” he said.

Among the problems, according to Lutsenko, the opportunity to appeal the suspicion, the need to apply to the court to conduct the examination. And too narrow a time frame for many industries that require the expertise and the international legal assistance.

On 3 October it was reported that the Council has made to the number of codes changes necessary to start judicial reform. For the project changes in Economic and Civil procedure codes, administrative Code, other laws No. 6232 voted 234 deputies. To consider the document in the second reading the deputies began on 7 September 2017. Just to the project was filed 4383 amendment.
