The head of the U.S. Department of State John Kerry believes that the agreement on cease-fire in Syria should be reviewed. This writes the AFP.
“The majority of Syrians even today do not know that there was an agreement on a cease-fire. For the most part it remained on paper. This agreement should be revised to ensure that it can achieve the goal of reducing violence,” Kerry said in Geneva.
The head of state noted the need to return to real negotiations on the conflict settlement and stressed that Moscow and Washington remain a number of unresolved issues relating to Syria and has announced a consultation between representatives of the United States and Russia, which will take place in Geneva in the coming days.
