Former U.S. Secretary of state John Kerry believes that the President is wrong in his public position on the anti-corruption court. He stated this at the 14th annual meeting of the Yalta European strategy in Kiev, writes

Today, Poroshenko has opposed calls for the immediate establishment of anti-corruption court with the argument that in the practice of the EU and the US has no such courts. Therefore, the President supported the creation of anti-corruption chamber in the Supreme court.

“I want to answer that, we have every court – anti-corruption. And spectacular now investigating the case against the President,” – said Kerry.

The conference hall has met these words an applause.

Former Secretary of state also stressed that for Ukraine the issue of corruption remains the key for further development.

May 22, 2017, the Prosecutor General Yuri Lutsenko said that Ukraine allegedly does not need a separate anti-corruption court, anti-corruption and enough of the chamber.

July 13 in the NAB said that the establishment of anti-corruption chambers not only will not solve the problem of the lack of convictions under top corrupt officials, but also deepen it.
