The mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko and the Deputy Chairman of China Pacific Construction Group, the UIN has signed a cooperation agreement on construction of the fourth subway line in Kyiv. The mayor of the capital announced in Facebook.
The agreement was signed between the Kiev city state administration and the Chinese consortium which included China Railway International Group Co., Ltd. and China Pacific Construction Group with China Railway International Group Co., Ltd.
The agreement provides for the establishment of a working group of Ukrainian and Chinese professionals which will develop the optimum technical and financial solutions for implementation of the project.
The cost of construction is estimated at $2 billion, with 85% of the projected cost of the project will provide through a loan from Chinese financial institutions.
“The opportunity for the loan is considered by Ukraine with the provision of state guarantees for the credit refund. The repayment period is from 15 to 20 years. The interest rate will be the subject of negotiations, ” said Klitschko.
The project involves the construction of a new metro line with a length of almost 18 km with 13 stations. There will also be a transfer line with the length of 1 km between the train and ring the new fourth line. The estimated construction period is 5 years.

“The development of transport infrastructure is one of the top priorities for city authorities. One of the most important projects – completion Podolsko resurrection of the bridge. As reported, the Memorandum with a Chinese consortium on cooperation in the construction of the subway troieschyna was signed in may 2017.
