The head of national police Sergey Knyazev has told about plans of creation of the police Institute investigators to strengthening of counteraction of crime. This was discussed today during summing up work of the criminal unit for the first 10 months of 2017, the press service of the Channel.

“We plan to reformat the work of criminal investigation – create a completely new unit. There will include the best workers, 70 percent of whom are operatives, and another 30 percent the investigators,” – said Knyazev.

Also, according to him, the Ministry plans to completely change the system of selection and training of candidates for service in the police. 75-80% of the candidates will come to office after a period of service in the divisions of patrol police. Thus, they will have some experience.

The other candidates – 20-25% of the required number of operatives will receive specialized education, after which young investigators will be trained by their experienced colleagues.

Earlier, the Prince had ordered to increase the number of police stations on the streets in Kiev and the region, explaining that “aggravation of the operational situation”.
