Ukrainian political prisoner Alexander Kolchenko, illegally convicted in Russia on case about allegedly preparing attacks in the Crimea, was transferred to a penal insulator of a corrective colony № 6 in Kopeysk. This was reported by member of public monitoring Committee of Chelyabinsk region Tatyana Shchur in Facebook.

Reasons for placement Kolchenko in straitlaced was a violation of the dress code. “Wash pea coat, he went out to the local area of a t-shirt and shorts… the Urals is unusual the heat and to catch the convicted person for a violation of the form, if you really want – simple,” wrote Schoor.

The Cabinet of Ministers has submitted to the approval of the Council of national security and defense sanctions list of persons involved in illegal actions against citizens of Ukraine. This is stated in the decree №574. The document was handed to the Council in connection with the judicial authorities of the Russian Federation illegal convictions and other illegal actions against Ukrainian citizens Nadiya Savchenko, Oleg Sentsov and Oleksandr Kolchenko.

March 30, President Petro Poroshenko signed a decree №121/2016 enacting the NSDC decision to apply sanctions against persons involved in illegal activities in relation to Savchenko, Sentsov and Kolchenko.

In July, the foreign Ministry said that work on expanding the list due to the cases of other wrongfully convicted in Russia of Ukrainians.

Kolchenko was in Russia in a punishment cell because of the t-shirt and shorts 26.08.2016
