In Ukraine in children’s residential institutions for the treatment of a child provided funding in the amount of 1 UAH per day. This was at a conference in Kherson said Commissioner President for children’s rights Mykola Kuleba on Friday, UKRINFORM reported.

“In institutions, only 27 UAH per day is used to Fund the child. 23 hryvnia – Board, 1 hryvnia – treatment and 3 UAH – clothes,” – said Kuleba.

The Agency reminds that earlier Kuleba reported that in the last three years in Ukraine, the state funding for residential institutions for children has grown annually by 1 billion UAH, and in 2016 reached 7 billion. In addition, these institutions in 2016 has officially received 250 million hryvnias of the charitable help, which was overwhelmingly focused on the treatment of children and purchase clothing.

Earlier Kuleba said that in Ukraine, one in eight children suffered from military operations in the East of the country.
