Shareholders of Kyivenergo on December 22 decided to allocate from structure of the operator distribution systems – Kyiv DTEK power grid. This reports the press service of Kyivenergo.

At the time of the shareholders meeting of the largest owners of voting shares of Kyivenergo was controlled by Rinat Akhmetov’s SCM company: DTEK Holdings to 25%, DTEK Energy – 29%, Ornex 21% and DTEK Energy – 18%.

“The company will carry out the activity of distribution of electricity and operation of power grids. In this regard, Kyivenergo transfers the balance of DTEK, Kyiv supply rights, obligations and assets for the implementation of the distribution business. It is expected that state registration of the new company will be completed in February 2018”, – stated in the message.

While Kyivenergo will retain activity for electricity supply.

In connection with the reorganization, the shareholders decided to convert 108,4 million shares of Kyivenergo nominal value of UAH 0.25 each in the same amount of Kyivenergo shares with a nominal value of UAH 0.05 each and DTEK Kiev the mains with a nominal value of 0.2 UAH each.

“Therefore, all current shareholders will become owners of the shares in Kyivenergo and DTEK Kiev power”, – specify in a press-service.

According to the press service of Kyivenergo, the creation of new societies will not affect the rights and obligations under contracts on management of municipal property, concluded between Kyiv city Council and Kyivenergo. The ownership right of the community of Kiev CHP-5 and CHP-6 plant Energy, heat networks and other objects, remains intact.
