In the mountainous area of Pakistan near the border with Afghanistan, a landslide occurred, which killed eight children and two more were injured. It is reported Associated Press, citing a local official.

Local official Arif Khan said that children who were 8 to 10 years, in the village of Gardanne in the tribal region of Bajor and collected ground to strengthen their homes. Among the victims were seven girls and one boy, the other two girls were saved.

The official also added that the rescuers a long time carried out the operation to release children from the rubble.
