Deputy head of Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people Ilmi Umerov Russian occupants illegally intend to transfer to a psychiatric hospital. About this in his Twitter said the lawyer Nikolai Polozov.

“Despite the poor condition Ilmi Umerov the FSB are going today to illegally transfer him to a psychiatric hospital,” – said Polozov.

13 Aug Umerov reported that the appeal against the decision of the occupants in the Crimea to send him for compulsory psychiatric examination.

On 10 August, the separatists decided to send zamglavy of the Majlis, which they accuse of separatism, to forced psychiatric examination. 14 Jul umer refused to undergo the examination.

Umerov was arrested may 12 and presented on his own recognizance.

Russia has occupied the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in 2014 year. The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine officially declared on 20 February 2014 beginning of the temporary occupation of Crimea and Sevastopol by Russia. Key international organizations, including the UN General Assembly has condemned Russia’s actions and called the annexation and occupation of Crimea illegal. Against Russia were imposed economic sanctions.
