The head of the presidential Administration of Ukraine Borys Lozhkin resigns, but remains in command of the head of state as an Advisor on investment attraction. This was announced by President Petro Poroshenko at the meeting of the national Council reform, the correspondent of ЛІГА.net.
“It is important to find the right people, which on one hand have vast political experience, on the other – will speak to businesses in the same language. And I emphasize that these criteria corresponds precisely to the B. E. Lozhkin… It’s not just about inviting investors to work in Ukraine, but also about active participation as a political and managerial heavyweight, to improve the investment climate in the country. So I made a decision: we delegate Boris Lozhkin to this extremely responsible work”, – said the President.
According to him, the new head of the AP will be the head of the Kharkiv regional state administration Igor rainin.
“Today, Kharkiv oblast is an exemplary implementation of decentralization is not the quantity of the combined communities, but the quality. All this is happening on the border with the Russian Federation”, – said Poroshenko.
“Igor Lvovich is one of the best if not the best head yeah. Kharkiv region from the frontal region became a center of reform. I think that this experience will be spread all over the country,” the President added.
He said that a decree on the appointment Rainin will be signed today. Poroshenko also said that today will be a meeting of the government, where a proposal will be made for the appointment of Governor of the Kharkiv region.
He Lozhkin at the meeting of the national Council said he was proud of the joint work and cooperation with the leadership of Ukraine.
“I am grateful to the President for this incredible experience, who had obtained the position of head of the Administration, and I am grateful now for the opportunity to answer the new call. I think that the build system work with foreign investors is now one of the most important cases in the country. I am convinced that all the rotation in the presidential team will bring a positive result”, – noted ex-the head of AP.
“I am confident that as Secretary of the National investment Council will benefit the country. As for Igor Rainin, I not only believe in his professionalism and responsibility, knowing it is not the first year, I rely on concrete results in the Kharkiv region”, – said Lozhkyn.
Petro Poroshenko has appointed Boris Lozhkin head of the presidential Administration on 10 June 2014.
Poroshenko and Lozhkin work together as business partners since 2007 – then Poroshenko handed over management of the media group UMH radio station Radio five (later renamed the Retro FM). In 2011, the partners jointly acquired Nashe radio from the Irish media company Communicorp, and later KP Media – company founder jed Sanden. Both of the asset is then estimated in the range of $15-20 million each in 2011, the KP Media holding UMH brought about $2 million EBITDA, and Our radio – about $1.5 million Poroshenko sold his share Lojkine in 2013.
