Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko does not exclude interrogation of the chief of the General staff of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko in the case of a fire and explosions at ammunition depots in Kalinovka. The head of the GPU, told reporters at a briefing on Monday, October 9.
Lutsenko, in particular, rejected their concerns about delayed allocation by the Ministry of Finance funds for the maintenance of the Arsenal in Kalinovka.
“We found that the Ministry of Finance allocated all the resources at requests of the Ministry of defence at the time and in the amount, which ordered the defense Ministry. So now focus on inadequate planning of transmission, use of funds by officials of the General staff and the leadership of this database storage”, – he said.
The attorney General refused to name the basic version of the investigation in the village, saying only that “we check it”.
“I can only say that the suspicions are clearly presented to not only lower the leadership of these structures. We have another version we must check, because in addition to terrorist attacks, we have evidence of criminal negligence”, – said Lutsenko.

The head of the GPU also stressed that the investigative actions on this case will be conducted “with all with whom they need to spend”.
“I think that the questioning on this occasion, Mr. Muzhenko will also be. But it is determined by the investigator. During my term in office (attorney General – ed.) they (investigators – ed.) already used, what to ask about this one is not necessary, even for these high-ranking officials”, – summed up Lutsenko.
