Deputy Prosecutor General Anzhela Strizhevskaya refuses to agree the message on suspicion to the former Minister of justice Elena Lukash, as it believes the collected consequence of the evidence to be insufficient. This was at the briefing said the Prosecutor General Yuri Lutsenko, reports UKRINFORM.

He recalled that, according to the law, the investigator needs to prove to the Prosecutor the sufficiency of the evidence. In this case, the Prosecutor believes that this is not done. “It is her right. The friction between investigators and prosecutors,” – said Lutsenko.

Earlier, according to the public Prosecutor, the suspect did not coordinate his Deputy Yuriy Stolyarchuk.

Lutsenko said that the evidence is insufficient for the article on which the ex-Minister wants to declare a suspicion the head of the Department of special investigation GPU Sergey Gorbatyuk. However, such evidence is of another article, said Lutsenko, without specifying which one.

At the end of October 2016 Mr. Yan said that the investigation on Lucas is in the final stage.

Mr. Yan said that Lukas was checked on suspicion of embezzling funds for the American law firm to challenge the decisions of the European court of illegal arrest of Yulia Tymoshenko on suspicion of spending funds for research on comparative analysis of European and Ukrainian legislation.
