Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko was appointed by Gunduz Mammadov, Prosecutor of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. This was reported by the chief military Prosecutor Anatoly Matios, reports the press service of the GPU.

“The Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko has signed the order about appointment of Gunduz Mammadov, Prosecutor of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea”, – said Matios.

Gunduz Mammadov from 1996 to March 2013 worked as the assistant Prosecutor, the Deputy Prosecutor of the district Prosecutor of Department, head of the Department, the city attorney and the Deputy Prosecutor of the region.

From March to December 2013 was appointed chief scientific officer of the National Academy of prosecution of Ukraine. From December 2013 to August 2016 held the positions of head of the Department, the city attorney and the Deputy Prosecutor of the region. Is the senior adviser of justice.


In connection with the Russian occupation of Crimea, the Prosecutor of the ARC relocated to Kiev. Reception of citizens by officials of the Prosecutor’s office of Crimea is carried out in the premises of the Prosecutor’s office at the address: Kiev, 13/15 Reznitskaya street.

Russia has occupied the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in 2014 year. The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine officially declared on 20 February 2014 beginning of the temporary occupation of Crimea and Sevastopol by Russia. Key international organizations, including the UN General Assembly has condemned Russia’s actions and called the annexation and occupation of Crimea illegal. Against Russia were imposed economic sanctions.
