In Lviv for the Galician district court was held to protest, whose participants demanded to cancel the decision on the penalty to volunteer. It is reported by TSN.
According to media reports, the judge Vitaliy Radchenko was awarded 8.5 thousand UAH of a penalty to the volunteer who drove from Poland armored vehicle designed for military personnel in the ATO zone. In this regard, the protesters expressed outrage, noting that “two years help the army, but now have more to pay”.
“There are activists, on account of which a few dozen imported cars. Some judges are sympathetic to the legal case and only issue a warning, others cling to the norms of the law and fined, qualifying volunteer car smuggling,” say the protesters.
The judge who made the ruling on the penalty, a year ago was transferred to Lviv from Donbass, he is now on vacation. The Vice-Chairman of court in comments to journalists said he could not comment on the decisions of colleagues.
