Senator John McCain acknowledged the seriousness of their diagnosis in the first big interview to CNN after he was diagnosed with cancer.

“I was faced with a challenge, but I have dealt with the challenges. And I’m sure I’ll handle it,” said McCain.

On Monday he waits for the result of CT and hoped for the best.

“I’m fine. The forecast is pretty good. I was faced with a very tough form of cancer, but so far the results are excellent,” – said the Senator.

On 20 July it became known that the American Senator John McCain was diagnosed with glioblastoma – a type of tumor of the brain. Later, he, despite his illness, came to the Senate in order to vote the laws regarding health care.
