The Ukrainian choice movement, whose leader is Viktor Medvedchuk, said that Pechersky district court of Kiev on 1 December ordered the Netpolicy to open criminal proceedings against Radio Liberty for shooting arrivals Medvedchuk from Russia at the airport in Kyiv. This is stated in the message on the website of the Ukrainian choice.

It States that the journalists violated the right of Medvedchuk on the inviolability of private life, as it is alleged is not the person authorized to perform state functions.

“The position of Viktor Medvedchuk supported by the decision of the Pechersk district court of Kyiv on December 1, 2017. The court ordered the National police to make information about the criminal offense committed by the journalists of Radio Freedom, in the Unified register of pre-judicial investigations”, – stated in the message.

Press Secretary of the Kyiv police Oksana Blischik is in the comments correspondent LIGA.net said that at the moment does not know it to the police a letter from the Pechersk court with a demand to open proceedings against journalists of Radio Liberty. “Waiting for a response from the investigating administrative Board (GU-Ukraine in Kyiv – ed.),” said Blischik. She said yesterday the corresponding request has also been received from Radio Liberty.

November 7, near VIP terminal of the airport Kiev people in masks and balaclavas attacked journalists of a film crew of the programme Schemes for Radio Liberty, who tried to shoot the arrival from Russia of the leader of the Ukrainian choice Victor Medvedchuk.
