The NATO parliamentary Assembly adopted a resolution on strengthening security and stability in the black sea region, taking into account the amendment of the Ukrainian delegation on the renewal of discussions with Ukraine and Georgia of black sea security and strengthening of cooperation with NATO. This was announced by the Chairman of the standing delegation of the Alliance Irina Friz in Facebook.
“At the plenary session of the NATO PA in Bucharest, adopted a resolution on “Strengthening stability and security in the black sea region” with the amendment of the Ukrainian delegation, providing for the extension of the strategic discussions with Ukraine and Georgia of black sea security, as well as further strengthening of cooperation in the framework of NATO, aimed at strengthening security in the region and the implementation of political decisions regarding the next steps to implement the decision of the Bucharest summit of 2008,” she wrote.
The MP stressed that the resolution of the NATO PA creates the basis for the beginning of the election algorithm on the preparation of Ukraine’s membership in NATO.
“The resolution of the NATO PA, de jure creates the basis that we proceeded with the election algorithm for training membership in NATO,” she said.

Freese also said the priority for Ukraine must reform to achieve compliance with the standards and criteria of the Alliance.
“Yes, we still have a lot of work. But the political support of our partners contributes to such changes and opens doors to Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine”, – the Deputy wrote.
