Microsoft stopped supporting the Windows Vista operating system, reports Venturebeat.

Typically, Microsoft provides at least 10 years support for its operating systems. Basic support for Vista ended on April 10, 2012 – it included free technical support, security fixes and support changes in design. In extended support, which operated until yesterday, were only included security updates.

It is noted that to use Vista as the operating system in the future, but it will become more vulnerable to viruses and other malware.
